Rant on 'The Untamed' Yunmeng Bros

 I'm going to tag this as spoilers only because some people might be on like the first episode or whatever. 

*SPOILERS AHEAD*

This is a relationship that is tragic and sad. 

I mean, first Jiang Cheng loses his sister, and like, maybe a couple hours later he loses Wei Wuxian? 

I feel for the guy. I really, genuinely do.

BUT WHAT THE HELL.

Okay, look. Jiang Cheng is awesome and I will not stop squealing whenever I watch the first episode and he just stalks up like 'hot damn'. Dude is also very attractive, I will not deny. 

BUT SERIOUSLY. WHAT THE HELL.

I get Wei Wuxian's outlook on life right then - dude was dead as a doornail, but then came back to life because of an array he made in his really bad state in the body of an abused teenage kid, then has to fulfill said teenage kid's revenge scheme or else his soul, like, dissipates or something (okay, to be honest I was barely paying attention to that part, but the point still stands). 

Wei Wuxian can't rest for a moment before he's got to go all over the cultivation world to find out who Mo Xuanyu's target was, and who killed Nie Mingjue, WITH, might I remind you, a guy he thought HATED him.

When he meets Jin Ling? He makes a careless comment he immediately regrets as soon as Jiang Cheng walks up.

In that city - after the whole thing with Jin Ling trapped in a wall? When Fairy (Jin Ling's spirit dog) tries to attack him, it's a reflex for Wei Wuxian to call out for his older sister.

Why?

Because he saw her die what seemed to be days/weeks ago.

Not sixteen years.

Jiang Cheng yells at him.

Look, I get it, the author wrote it that way, but if you think about it, Wei Wuxian may have known he was dead, but everything happened to him as though he fell and then woke up, right? He didn't get the passage of time that everyone else did. He didn't get the sixteen years of dealing with Yanli's death.

I just thought... I don't ever see people mentioning that. Wei Wuxian looked so sick of the people in Lotus Pier right before Guanyin Temple, okay? Like 'you morons still don't get it, do you'?

Ugh.

And what still pisses me off is that everyone INCLUDING Jiang Cheng - and the Lans! the clan of the righteous cultivators! - didn't think anything of the Wen remnants, just thought that 'every Wen dog should die'. 

Like, what the actual hell?
